Foundations 8 – Final Judgement & the 2nd Coming of Christ
Final Judgement :
At the end of this world order, God will _________all people and all deeds….Psalm 96:13….Eccl.12:14
This judgement will be about what we did with Jesus……John 3:16-18……1John 5:11-13
Heaven is the place of God’s final reward….Rev.21:1-7
Heaven is where God is….Eccl.5:2
Heaven is for believers in Jesus only
Hell is the place where people who didn’t want to believe in Jesus go.
Hell was not originally made for humans but for the devil & his angels and all who follow them….Matt 25:41….Rev.20:11-15.
People are in Hell because they ________ to be….they are locked in their rebellion permanently. CS Lewis says “the doors of Hell are locked from the ____________”. We sometimes want to offer these people a 2nd chance….what if they change their mind & want to repent, we ask? The Bible makes it very clear that they will _________ repent….just like Satan and his demons!
2nd Coming of Christ:
